ZOBENS UN LEMESS (ZL) – an extreme music and living history open air festival in Latvia – returns for its 10th edition!
The festival will take place over three days: June 6–7, 2025, at Bauska Hillfort Park, and June 8, 2025, at Bauska Castle, featuring a free program. Expect a diverse lineup of metal genres and immersive living history experiences.
The metal and living history open air festival offers:
- Metal bands, including black, doom, folk metal, death, post-metal, and more, alongside folk bands.
- Living history attractions, such as medieval crafts, games, and sword-fighting tournaments.
- Engaging lectures on historical themes.

Entrance to the ZL2025 open air festival on Friday, 6 June, will open at 3:00 PM. A camping area for overnight stays will be available within the hillfort park grounds.
